With its location on the cliff between Denia and Javea with direct views of the wide sea, the villa 'Vent Fresc' is certainly unique. The architecture discreetly quotes the local Spanish architectural style without imitating it.
Far from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by old pine trees, you can enjoy the sea on all sides from the two sea-facing and partly covered terraces. In the morning for breakfast and in the evening for a drink with a view of Cape San Antonio, the sun comes to visit, during the day there are enough sunny and shady spots for all tastes and the wind from the sea creates a pleasant climate even without air-conditioning.
The proximity to the sea and the good access to several bathing spots in the immediate vicinity with good swimming and diving spots makes the own pool superfluous.
Vent Fresc' is more cosy than prestigious, it is the place to share with good friends for unforgettable hours. Therefore, the furnishings in the living rooms (2), bedrooms (3), kitchens (2), toilets (1) and bathrooms (3) are of high quality but simple.
From the two partly covered car parking spaces, the kitchen, which is open to the living room, is accessed via a staircase, a patio and a cloakroom. The large living/dining room has a glass frontage interrupted by an open fireplace with sea views. Large sliding doors lead to a spacious, partly covered terrace, which also has an open fireplace and whose railings are partly made of glass to offer an uninterrupted view of the sea.
Through a short corridor, accessible from the end of the living/dining room, there is a guest toilet, a bedroom with bathroom, a sauna with relaxation room and shower, as well as a large storage and laundry room on this level, where the central heating is also located. The room could be converted into a further bedroom.
The lower living area, with its own entrance, consists of a kitchen-living room, two bedrooms, bathroom and its own partly covered terrace. It is accessible via an internal staircase from the upper cloakroom as well as via an external staircase from the courtyard. As the interior staircase has a lockable door, the upper and lower living areas can also be used separately.
In addition to the necessary electricity and water connections, the house has two cisterns which are fed from the roofs and terraces. The garden is equipped with an automatic irrigation system (Gotta-Gotta). There is no sewerage connection, the sewage is treated through a septic tank (Fosa Septica).
Vent Fresc' is located in the Green Zone, a type of nature conservation area, where structural changes may require special permission.[IW]
